RUDE staff and pitiful menu 12/4/2008

I have never written an online review before, but I felt compelled to encourage people NOT to go to this restaurant. My husband and I were excited to try this restaurant, and were terribly disappointed. The host was incredibly rude, and stood 2 tables away giving us dirty looks for reasons unknown. The food was mediocre and the menu was pitifully limited. If you're a vegetarian, forget it. Also, a friend of mine took her daughter to this snarky restaurant, and was rudely told that there were no high-chairs or booster seats and that children were not welcome. And believe me, this restaurant has no business putting on airs. Save your money! more

Excellent Service-Food-Drinks 1/19/2007

Although I am not a regular, I always feel like the staff knows me, and I recieve excellent service. The steaks are great, and my wife, being a vegitarian always finds something she enjoys. Drinks are awesome especially the martini's. It is one of the few places that I'll order dessert. more

Overpriced and overrated 6/6/2006

I recently went to San Marco for a romantic dinner with my husband and it was a complete disaster. I was really looking forward to it because I heard great things, especially about the sevice. While the food was average, the service was horrible and actually ruined the meal. Even though we had reservations, we were left waiting in the bar for over an hour and we were basically ignored during dinner. Adding insult to injury were the inflated prices! You must try this restaurant!! 8/22/2002

Perhaps the best combination of superb Italian food and the best service I've ever experienced! The Proscuitto and Melon appetizer was incredible. I had the the best blend of fresh seafood and pasta without feeling bloated or overwhelmed. The service here is excellent and the 3 gentlemen that gave us their undivided attention were extremely polite. Added bonus is a very relaxed and private atmosphere. more
