Rick B. Weaver is a partner in the Alliance/Wise County office of The Weaver Firm, P.C. Mr. Weaver has nearly 30 years of estate planning and probate experience, has practiced Elder Law for more than 15 years and is one of the few certified Elder Law attorneys in Texas. He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Estate Planning and Probate and he specializes in qualifying older clients for Medicaid and preparing Qualified Income Trusts (Miller Trusts).

Mr. Weaver assists his clients with preparation of Special Needs Trusts and Discretionary Testamentary Spousal Trusts for Medicaid Qualification as well as prepares Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Medical Directives and assists with estate planning with a specialty assisting individuals with special needs.
He also routinely counsels clients in estate tax and gift tax planning, real estate transactions and the creation of corporations, Limited Liability Companies and Limited Partnerships. Mr. Weaver is licensed in Texas, having graduated from The University of Texas School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Real Estate and Probate and Trust Sections, the Dallas Bar Association, the Tarrant County Bar Association, Tarrant County Probate Bar Association, the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Texas Guardianship Association.
Mr. Weaver is also a legal education instructor at the National Business Institute, Inc., and teaches business law at The University of Texas at Arlington's Paralegal Program.
