Suzanne Richard Barnes, ASID, established Richard & Company Interior Design in 1991. A graduate of the University of Alabama and a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designer; Suzanne enjoys working with both residential and commercial design clients. Her design style incorporates comfortable classics mixed with fabulous textures and color. My profession offers me a wonderful opportunity to solve design problems and enhance my client's surroundings to reflect their personality and the use of the space. Plus, the transformation process is just plain fun! Accomplishments and Activities: Professional member of ASID since 1992 upon passing the NCIDQ exam. Former Public Relations Chair for the State Chapter of ASID from 1996-1997. Former President Elect for the State Chapter of ASID from 1997-1998. Former ASID State President from 1998-1999 Financial Director for State Chapter of ASID 2009-2011. Six ASID Designer Showhouses benefiting the Huntsville Museum of Art. Member of the Alabama Chapter of US Green Build Council, Professional Guild member at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens. Memberships to the Museum of Art, Sci-quest, Early Works, Burritt Museum, The Space and Rocket Center and the Botanical Gardens. We enjoy all memberships and love what all Huntsville has to offer.
