Inept chef... 1/30/2010

An absolute abomination. This hack chef with an arrogant heavy handed approach is an insult to asian cuisine. Maybe an asian hotel group should hire an asian chef with a real working knowlege of the regions and their cuisines. Pros: Chef won't last long Cons: Chef still around more

Food is always consistent and delicious. If you are in the mood to tease your taste buds, that's the place to go. Flavor combinations are unusual and intriguing (in a good way) for the Westerner. Great ambiance for the romantic dinner for two. I always feel special in this place. more

very, very cool bar 3/11/2006

OK, the prices are high for drinks, but there is no cooler place in Miami to have a cocktail. When the weather is right, the courtyard is gorgeous. Thoughtful planning of the design and lighting makes for a very romantic atmosphere. Lots of pretty people mingling and enjoying themselves. more

Get the true Miami Heat, visit The Setai!! 12/14/2005

The perfect place to absorb the chic Miami air. What I liked about this place is that you can actually sit at a couch without the need of getting bottle service (something unusual in Miami), so you don't have to be standing up all night with drink in hand. Of course, get early or you'll end up doing that anyways. Drinks are pricey (Long Island iced tea for a whopping $19.50. Sigh), but Enrique Iglesias was the celeb of the evening so I happily forgot the tab right after. The age range is more on the 30's, another pro in my case since most Sobe places are crowded with young partygoers. Another thing, parking is good only if you get early (public metered parking across the street). After 11 you will have no choice but to do valet, so add $24 to your tab. Ta-Ta! That is all for now. Pros: Decor, Ultra Chic, Celeb spotting Cons: Uber pricey more
