I recently purchased a facial package from this resort and was so pleased with the results. My skin looks great after only 2 visits and I plan on talking to them about their permanent make up. What can I say but this was the best decision I've ever made. Not only was Nancy very helpful with her recommendations for my permanent make up but she did a fantastic job with putting it on. I felt no pain at all and was so happy with the results that I scheduled another visit to have my lips done. I get up every morning and walk out the door without having to worry about how I look. Had a friend recommend this day spa AND DID THEY REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT. I felt right at home and didn't have to deal with snooty people(like other places I've been). As a Salon and Spa- I thought this would be a high end place! The only thing high end was the price! I paid $150. only to have my hair a mess when I left! It was chopped and colored! I looked like Rainbrow Bright! My Hair was every color! GRAY & Orange & brown & blonde- NOTE: I told Kathy I wanted one color with bold hair light! But she was to lazy to put on a full color! She was wondered about Chatting it up with her friend how was there waiting on her to get off work! It does not pay to be the last customer! I called and spoke to several people (Nancy&Linda) and was told they would send me something in the mail to make up for the bad service but I have yet to get anything and this was over a month ago!!! I would note send anyone here! I will not even return it is is fixed for free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE! NOT UPSCALE LIKE THE NAME SAYES! more

I decided to try this salon out, based on the great reviews from this site. I have never had a set of nails before and the gel looks fantastic! I don't worry about them cracking or ripping off my fingers. Nancey did a wonderful job. Michael's pedicures are amazing. He does make your feet new again. Amber does a wonderful job with color/cut as well. Very impressed with the quality of the services overall! more

I've had some great, and some not so great pedicures at resorts, salons and hotels across the country. When I moved to Winston, I searched for a pedicurist that met my expectations of keeping my feet free from dead, cracked skin while pampering me a little at the same time. The receptionist highly recommended Michael, saying "I would be very pleased", and I made my first appointment, about 18 months ago. I have not had a pedicure anywhere since--and I will not go anywhere else. Michael "whittles" away at the dead skin and is a perfectionist when it comes to grooming cuticles and nails. When he begins your massage, you are glad you are in the hands of this good old boy who has just enough elbow grease to relax you until your next visit. Ladies, treat yourself today! My full time job requires extensive airline travel and my other business is a handcrafted jewelry boutique. I am so rough on my nails and no where, no one, could do my nails in a way that would allow me to make it 2 weeks between fill in's without looking so terrible. With Nancey's immaculate work - I can go two weeks and they look so natural. Most people think I have a french manicure and have no idea that I have gel. The products she uses are not harmful to my natural nails. I have worked in healthcare for years and I have really high cleanliness standards when it comes to nail care salons. I feel so comfortable at The Resort. I have my own files and I am pampered in a relaxing, professional, clean environment. Michael's pedicures are amazing. The only thing I don't like about his pedicures is the fact that my work schedule won't allow me to go more often !! They are amazing and I would go every week if I could. I drive a long distance to get to The Resort because I think that the services I receive there are just superior to anything I have ever experienced elsewhere!!! My nails would never grow long enough to look pretty. They were always breaking off at the quick and looking uneven. Nancey transformed my "nubs" into a beautiful set of 10 even gorgeous nails. She is a grand master nail stylist and prides herself on her flawless work. Now when I am dressed to go to work or out to dinner, my nails look like they are ready too! Give Nancey a call. I've been going to Michael for about 9 months and I will NEVER let anyone else do my nails again. Trust me when I say that he can transform tired, cracked, neglected feet into soft, smooth and perfectly polished tootsies! You have never had a pedicure like this! He will scrub and scrub and scrub. You won't recognize your feet. They will be as smooth as a baby's bottom! Michael also does my fingernails and they too look perfect once he works his magic. I have been going to Nancey for about 8 years now. When she moved from Mocksville to her beautiful new spa in Winston, I didn't think twice about following her. She has done wonders for my nails and she is a perfectionist!!! I would recommend her to everyone. Shay is also awesome, she is now dying my eyelashes and I don't have to wear mascara!!
