RePOP has moved to Williamsburg! 4/1/2012

This charming shop curated with conversational attention to detail now has a new location on the corner of Roebling and Metropolitan at 143 Roebling St between Metropolitan and Hope. Tons of natural sunlight and stunning furniture offset by interesting artifacts galore. Best source for affordable vintage lighting and case pieces or that special something something. more

Wonderland 12/6/2007

RePop is a magical wonderland of discovery. Prepare yourself for a visual adventure ride. This is the kind of store you wish you could live in - it's that good. I've been repoped, have you? Pros: You won't want to leave Cons: You won't want to leave more

An eyepoppingly eclectic shopping experience 12/3/2007

Okay, this is my favorite shop in New York City. and well worth the trip from Upper Manhattan. I have acquired numerous pieces, including a dramatic ""Day of the Dead"" wooden skeleton sculpture for which we have so much affection that we have named him ""Miguel."" I've also purchased some simply beautiful and well-priced Midcentury and Danish modern furnishings as well as some one-off art sculptures, jewelry and fun vintage clothing pieces. Not to be forgotten are the handmade jewelry items and other artistan-rendered pieces that make Re-Pop an emporium with something for everyone. The staff here is knowledgeable and the owners are around often, ready with info on provenance as well as adventure stories on acquired items. Re-Pop is a ""must stop"" for its eclectic, sometimes spooky offerings that will delight the lover of all things interesting and different. Pros: Great ambience and I wished this were my shop. more

Very unique 11/20/2007

RePop is DEFINITELY worth visiting if you're in the neighborhood. It's really like a museum (only like where you can buy stuff). The only drawback is things are a bit pricey. more

Amazing furniture and a truly refreshing experience! 11/15/2007

Having read the blurb on this place from citysearch I did not know quite what to expect when I went to RePOP for the first time, and to tell the truth....I was astounded! This beautiful boutique is not just an art, collectible and hobby situation.....it is an art installation of everything wonderfully vintage. Not only did I walk away with a great pair of designer lamps and pair of knoll chairs (that were so reasonably priced for what they were I could not believe it), but I also felt that the curators had a deep sense of what the essence of New York vintage / antique shopping should be. RePOP is a throwback to stylish yet inexpensive, creative shopping for the home, and happening upon it made me feel as I had been let in on a marvelous secret. I have been back several times since my initial visit and the selection shifts frequently. I find it difficult not to want to take the whole shop home with me. If you love well made and unique mid-century pieces, primitive cabinets, crazy cool arm chairs and glamorous accents this IS THEE destination for you. Those afraid of dolls and suggestive art objects should avoid. Pros: One stop shopping for decorating, gift giving and atmosphere. Cons: Hard to make a decision and the owners are prone to creepy stuff like spinal cords and crazy doll heads more
