Do NOT buy a new car here!!They will trick and confuse you, make you wait hrs. In the end, you've been scammed. 10/15/2014

I bought a new car at Renton HONDA Wa. This is not my first time buying a new car. I know a lot about cars and I did my one work before going into the dealer. On edmounds.com and cars.com. I shopped around. This dealer had the lowest price. Over the phone, sales manager told me the price I would pay for what I wanted in a car. I knew all the numbers and cost such as msrp, dealer cost, market price, so on....... This is how they do it. 1. They will make you wait forever. More tired you get, you get hungry, you get tired and confused, exhausted, and want to go home with a new car. Believe me, they will make you wait dozen times. 2. Whatever the dealer said to you or even written down on paper will be no use! They will change the numbers and come up with some unknown excuse to justify the new number. 3. On document fee, this is negotiable by law. They will want to charge you $250 if you dont bring it up. I told them I am willing to pay half. So they agreed. However, I was charged a full fee of $250. 4. They will try to sell you a so called "Micro dot" security. It is a tiny dot of numbers to track the car parts in case the car end up at chop shop. Totally worthless!! Cost $400+ If your not aware, they will simply add it to the cost on the final bill paper. 5. If you ask too many questions or investigate, they will be rude and ignore you as you ask for answers. There is a Philippines guy. A sales manager I think. He was very **** rude when I inquired and pointed out their math is wrong. 6. I can not tell you how manipulative they are! They will test your patience and how smart you are. They will add extra cost on the final sheet and add all the cost of add-On on the car. Throughout the whole deal making process, they will do everything to add more profit! Warning! Do Not buy a new car here!! YOU WILL GET SCAMMED!!! more

Timing belt service 2/8/2013

I brought my 2002 honda accord 4 cyl in for an SRS light a week ago. The SRS is covered under warranty no charge. They told me I need to replace the timing belt because they inspected it and it in cracking. First of all, they did not inspect this because it take a lot of labor to get to the timing belt just to check. There is no easily access to it. So, they lied about that. They base the change on my time and mileage on the car which is 10 years, 91,000 miles. They have to order the seatbelt replacement for the SRS. Came back yesterday to get that done and mention that I wanted the timing belt done. Asked if they match the 15% off that Lynnwood honda has for timing belt package. Micheal Stokes, the advisor/sale told me "oh yeah, we will match it", while we were walking to the shuttle ride station. I asked him if I need to go back and get the paper work for that timing belt and he said it is $770 with 15% off plus tax. He sent me on my way. Came back in 7 hours later to pick up the car and looked at the price; they charged me an extra, quote from the paper work "Customer pay environmental control fee for repair order 33.68. I was also charged tax on the fee as well as the parts and labor. They told me that was for them to clean the dirty clothes that the tech is wearing (???) and that they have to dispose of the anti-freeze. The anti-freeze is okay to me but the tech's uniform? Also, $33.68 is excessive charge for dumping 1 gal. of anti-freeze. Got home and looked through paperwork and they charge me for a new water pump but on the paperwork it said "Inspected water pump and tensioner". They did not replace the water pump but charged me for it. They have to replace the water pump because it is neccesary and it is in the same location as the belt. It would be costly and they have to perform the timing belt labor again to get to the water pump. Called and they said that it was replaced but the tech much have put in the wrong information. Told me to bring the car back in and they will lift the car up to show me that more

Worst sales team . Cons and liars 3/22/2012

Their are trying to cheat you . Bought car before got stuck with high intrest rate . Now they try to buy my car but would only give half the listed kbb value , which they say is the best offer . They reduce price for new car but would also reduce the value of ur trade in . Would never shop here again more

Renton Honda : Honda Dealers 4/29/2008

“Yours is an online dealership everyone with a passion for cars should visit. I was awestruck at the range of options and features this dealership website offers. I did not need to be anywhere near this dealership to fix up an appointment for service. I was sitting miles away, and this was the first thing I did on getting up. I didn’t even have to wait till the shop opened; the website facilitates this wonderful option, whereby I could do all this with just a few clicks of the mouse! I think this is what an online dealership has to be –bring what we need at the actual dealership to its website. Renton Honda has thoroughly succeeded in this.” more

Lies and crappy service 2/21/2008

The "closer" sales guy lied to us about the car alarm, saying he needed to install it, when in fact it was already installed and we had to pay to have it "turned on." I understand they have to put these alarms in, but don't lie to us. He tried to push a lot of other crap on us and played mind trick about how unsafe I was if I didn't buy them. HELLO, I'm buying a HONDA. They're safe and reliable without the extra dealer-income extras. He just felt slimy. Then the weather stripping in one of the doors came lose on the new car. They had us in TWICE to have it replaced under warranty. The first time they scheduled the service and when I returned for the car they told me it was the wrong part. The second time they didn't even have the part in. No one bothered to call me either time to tell me this. I just dropped the car off at my scheduled time. They promised to call me when it came in. FOUR MONTHS LATER I called to ask where this is. They don't have the part, they need to order it..... Bunch of losers. I'm writing to corporate to see if I can transfer my service to another Honda dealership. I shouldn't have to keep going to these losers just to keep a warranty. Any Honda dealership should be accepted. more

We bought our KIA from them 9/6/2005

We were happy with the salesperson, Ray, and the deal that we got. He didn't try to upsell us, and even gave us the KIA floor mats. The financing guy didn't try anything tricky, just the usual attempts to sell us rust guard and extended warranty. After the sale he showed me where the new KIA service center was being built, since it was moving, and stopped and got me a full tank of gas. Our KIA is something I have been very happy with too. We have had it for 5 years and only needed routine maintenance. It does go through batteries pretty quickly, I'm already on my third one, but it's not worth fixing compared to the cost of a battery. All the parts for this car are cheap, which is another plus! more

Dishonest 7/12/2005

We caught the sale person in a couple of lies and they knew it. They never did compensate us for the loss we had in dealing with them. The customer service dept tried to make up for it but our overall experience was poor. more

Scheming Sheisters Inc. 6/12/2005

This place defines crooked car dealerships. They play every game in the book. I went to "look" and found myself litterally defending myself from these people. Talk about psycological warfare! Ive never seen anything like this place. I wondered if it was just me but then I saw a shouting match going on out in the parking lot with another customer whom was offended by their tactics as well. Absolutely amazing and scary. I do recommend Lynnwood Honda. more
