Totally worth the trip. 12/26/2012

I usually go to the Sanford Flea market on weekends, but for some reason my husband and I decided to head on out to the Mount Dora flea market. He is a big video game player, so he wanted to see what kind of deals he could find for his old video game consoles. We started at the front and right there in the front row was a guy selling all kinds of video games for nearly every known console. And yes, the 80's versions too. [super nintendo] so of corse my husband was super excited. We looked around some more there are amazing electronic sales, right next to the video game guy. And we're big nerds so we stayed in this particular booth quite a while. We also have a small daughter, and there are a lot of booths that sell reasonably priced toys and stuff for kids. There is a large section outside and that wasn't all impressive. Mostly a bunch of guys stuff out there, that is weathered. We didn't go to the antique section at all. Just stayed at the flea market. Lots of fresh vegetables for sale and plants. Really nice, friendly people. And it can be a LITTLE crowded at times. We started out just going there once, and now my husband always wants to see what kinda deals he can get on video games and electronic/ computer stuff. But one thing I don't really like about it.. Is the food is just a little on the expensive side. But the bathrooms are nice and always clean. They have everything out there, from video games to fresh seafood, computers to baby toys, movies to clothes and shoes... perfume, AVON, book store and much much more. I definitely recommend the Renninger's Outdoor/ Indoor Twin markets. more

Good: That you can get just about anything there from baby items to satellites all in one place, something for moms and dads.. Bad: Not enough bathrooms. And all the produce sellers scattered - so you had to go look and remember where the best deal was.. Improvements: More bathrooms and less expensive food being sold in their restaurants. They are way too expensive, especially when you have 5 children in tow looking for bargains and they want food or a drink.. Other: Very good flea market and overall good vendors. The produce people have very good prices, and I love that my husband can also get something out of it, TV and satellite and me getting produce - candy, gifts and clothing all in one place is great.. more

Flea market 9/5/2006

http://www.renningersflorida.com/farm_flea/farm-flea_mkt.htm This one I would consider one of the better ones out there. It has the flea and farmers market on one side and the antique mall on ther other. They have all sorts of things going on. Classic Car & Cycle Swapmeet & Cruise-in Second Sunday of Every Month 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM 2006 Holiday Fair December 16 & 17 January - See Extravaganzas February - See Extravaganzas March 18 & 19 April 15 & 16 May 20 & 21 June 17 & 18 July 15 & 16 August 19 & 20 September 16 & 17 October 21 & 22 November - See Extravaganzas December - See Special Events Don't be disappointed. Mark YOUR calendar NOW! The extravaganzas are awesome you just have to pay a small fee to get into these ones, dealers and buyers come from all over, its packed at times. Its well worth it. You do need a good pair of walking shoes and a big wheeled cart to go up and down the slanted sandy hills. A good share of the dealers will give you a nice deal. They do have an ATM and some dealers do except CC and checks. Some even will hold it for you till the following day. They are open every weekend on both sides. On the antique side they also have a clock and watcj repair. Glass and china repair. Books on antiques. Just to name a few extras there. So when the next extravaganza rolls around come on down. more
