Hair Emergency! 10/14/2011

I went to a stylist that I have never used before. She had been recommended by a friend of my husband. Long story short: she botched my hair terribly. I cried for hours that night. Elizabeth did what she had to do and cut it all off. I was so nervous because I have very thick hair, and it's always been long. I was so happy when I left. To add to my stress, I had to go straight to a job interview after my appointment. I felt super confident walking into my interview. (They offered me the job as well!) Elizabeth is great with cut and color! more

Awesome Facial with Nicole 10/11/2011

Nicole is one of the best facilists I have had the great fortune to come across...and, I have had many facials. She is soothing and helpful in explaining what she is doing and why, asks pertinent questions and makes suggestions for improving my skin. I like the Skinceutical products, as well. more

Great fun and relaxation 10/9/2011

I treated myself to a facial by Jennifer which was awesome, relaxing, and rejuvenating! Loved the products she used. I will be back. She also waxed my brows and did an excellent job! I had a pedicure and loved the vibrating seats and the nice cocktail! A great day at a fun spa! As Arnold says in the "Terminator"...I'll be back. Thanks you all, for a great day. more

Great massage 10/8/2011

Massage was excellent and very professional! I wished there were some aromatherapy oils used or offered instead of the lotion that was used. Also, we would have loved to have had lunch after the massage but that was not offered to us when I made the appointment by phone and it was too late to sign up once we arrived. We asked to be seated upstairs before our appointment only bc I was tipped off by a friend to do so. In my opinion that should be a standard procedure bc it just takes on more of a relaxed spa experience when you are removed from the hustle and bustle of the cosmetic business downstairs! The bellinis were an nice touch but they were not that good, tasted like " sunny delight". Just a suggestion to offer champagne or try a different mixture! We enjoyed our experience. more

I always have agreat experience when I am at Renata Salon! Tianna is great ! She always gets my color just how I want it and the cut is perfect. It is such a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. I really look forward to my appointments every 6 weeks !!! more

A Relaxing Day 9/29/2011

Renata is a great place to take care of "self" and relax away from the everyday worries of life. The staff is friendly, professional and delightful to be around. Everyone is a team or "a family" and they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your experience at Renata. Try it for a get a way one day and you will surely return with a friend. As far the services, they rate the best in the metroplex!!! ***** 5 stars more

    No fussy crocheted doilies or curio cabinets here--this 1896 home has been handsomely restored, with attention given to lush fabrics, leaded glass and uniquely detailed fireplace mantles. Patrons check in at a regal oak reception desk--nestled beneath the winding staircase--then proceed toward cushiony sofas in a central waiting room. Hair and nail services take place downstairs, where natural light streams through double-paned windows. Massages and facials are conducted in cozy upstairs rooms. Professional women and mom-daughter duos are likely in attendance.

    Cuts, color and specialty hair treatments are available, including Japanese-style thermal straightening.
