THIS place is the worst place I have been to. The first day- apt was not ready to move in to..the second day, no electricity because the apartment gave me wrong apt address but they didn't do anything though it's their mistake. Not even sorry. I paid set up fee twice for electricity company. The first month bill was $135. I came here 3 months ago, signed the lease for one year and now, I can't wait to leave this place. The price to break the lease is $500 plus &1300(aparment's own cancellation fee). So, I can't even afford to terminate the lease.The utilities(sewer+water+trash etc) came over $100..I have never paid more than $40 for two bedroom apartments anywhere in past 4 years. Late fee for the first day : $75. $10 for each day after that. A lady on phone told me that I can pay until 4th without late payment. On 4th when I went to office to pay it, $75 late fee. Remington Hills At Las Colinas is the worse place you could possible get into, no matter the length or money you choose to rent. I rented for six months and three days later, I could not wait to leave that insidious place. This is a rundown old place that is falling apart, rude management and all of their appliances suck energy dry--even if you do not use them. I complained several timnes of roof leaks--it took them over two months to fix them! The affected walls got black mold, which they just painted over. Sure its dirt cheap, but you will pay your dues on suffering, made-up bills and fees. Cons: To many for this little field more
