Refoa, Janet, Dds - Jjp Dental Practice

I have been with Dr. Refoa since 2006. During my initial consultation, I learned that I had twelve teeth requiring crowns due to intensive teeth grinding over the past 15 years. Dr. Refoa performed brilliantly with beautiful white protecting crowns. I would not trust any other doctor to do such a major procedure in my mouth. Today my teeth and smile are white and radiant and I am complimented all the time by everyone that how wonderful it is to see me smile. more

I felt the need to write this to everyone because of occurrences that happened yesterday (Friday). By 11 pm Thursday night I was in severe pain. I called Dr Refoas office, left a message to call me as soon as they opened. They called me first thing Friday morning. Hilda, Dr Refoa's receptionist, got me in quickly, and was very professional. That was just a clue as to what was to come. Katrin, the hygienist ( a great on too) took my x-rays, not an easy task, considering the pain. Dr. Janet Refoa took some extra time to explain what was happening, and my treatment choices. I am writing this because, although I have to go back and complete the work next week, I have been absolutely pain and discomfort free since I left her office. I t was the most incredible dental experience I have ever had ( I didn't even feel the needle). An extra bonus, I got to see Aslan, Dr Refoas husband. He also a dentist , but, apparently runs the office. Great experience, spectacular care, incredible professional people. If you have a dental problem..GO SEE THEM!!! Thanks for you time Bruce more

I have been a patient of Dr Refoa for 10 years now. She is caring, competent and thorough in her diagnosis as well as treatments. The office is filled with diagnostic & treatment equipment of the latest technology, such as laser, digital x-rays etc. Staff are courteous and seem to know their duties and responsibilities. The reception is warm and accommodating. Prices are fair and reasonable. I truly love coming to this office. Thank you Dr Refoa for caring for me S.M.Elihu more

I never felt more like I was being up sold on dental work that was supposedly necessary. After my consultation with Dr. Refoa, I told her that my dental work needed to be limited due to my lack of full-insurance coverage and personal funds. She told me I had 6 cavities that needed fillings and at least 2 wisdom teeth that needed to be extracted – totaling between $2,000 and 3,000. The whole time she was not clear on what procedures were really necessary. On top of that she could not explain how she came up with the price of each procedure. I even had my insurance co-payment fee schedule with me, to help her break it down. All in all, I would not recommend this dentist. Since then I have found a new dentist who told me I actually did not have any cavities. more
