I'm not sure about the complaint of the other reviewer above. Both my children attend Redeemer and love it! My kids have learned to write, count, are even starting to read and enjoy the time they spend at school. The teachers are friendly and caring towards my kids. The director (administration) is always available to any questions or needs we have regarding our kids and very helpful and professional. This is a very popular school in Carlsbad. My children were on a waiting list before we got in. If the above reviewer had a spot in the school that means someone else who wanted to attend could not attend and would need to sign up at another school. The school then would not get that student back. You make a non-refundable deposit for that reason. If you back out then the school may not replace the spot you had taken. Makes sense to me. We were going to send our daughter to their new Kindergarten program in the fall (Sept 2009) but decided that financially we should send her to the public school near our home. We had already paid the $175 non refundable registration and supply fee (and they are refusing to give us the supplies that we have paid for and are not willing to give us our money back). Along with those fees, we have also paid money towards the ""last month"" of her attendance. Considering she has never attended, that money should be fully refundable, however they will not send it back. Extremely discouraging for any organization - no less a religious one.
