My family visited over the weekend and stayed at the Red Lion Hotel on the Columbia River in Vancouver. They found it to be an extremely pleasurable experience with a nice view of the river, large outside deck area and a great beach area. With rooms that look out over the Columbia into the Portland area it is a spectacular setting. Surprising that it is cheaper and nicer than the Red Lion on the Oregon side!
