great portions 3/17/2009

If you dont know what to get, get the five meat treat. You wont be able to finish it but it's good as leftovers :D\r \r One time, the waistress was slow and to pay more attention to the table next to us than our table. Mike, one of the guys who bring out the food was really helpful that day. The waitress said the sweet ice tea machine was down, Mike just put it together and got my g/f the ice tea. I thought that was cool of him.\r \r I love the foood but wish they gave more sides. Their potatoes and sweet potatoes are nice. \r \r First time my girlfriend had the steak, she loved it. Second time, it wasn't a great... third time, they didn't even season it and it was over cooked. I warn her to order medium well , instead of well done. Most place tend to over cook their meat.\r \r I think once or twice when I order SPICY wings, they gave mild. \r \r There is always leftover when I leave and I like to cover it with BBQ sauce after I pack it to go :D Pros: bbq meats Cons: small sides except potatoes more

Ribs and Pulled Pork and Brisket, Oh My! 12/9/2008

This is a cool place. Great BBQ, amazing ribs, live music, quick service, and cheap prices. Try their memphis dry ribs and their turnip greens. Their BBQ sauces are great...they even have a Carolina-style white BBQ sauce. If you are as enamored with their sauces as I am, you can buy them by the bottle. The whole restaurant is decorated with Memphis blues memoribilia. Also, they often have live blues bands. Again, very cool place. Check it out. Pros: Everything Cons: Don't sit too close to the band if you plan to converse more

Great relaxing evening 2/28/2005

Smokin' Thursdays at Red Hot & Blue are the best night out you'll ever have. The live band is acoustic (great for conversation). The smoked prime rib was awesome. We'll be back next week. more
