Great ambience and music! 6/26/2004

Friday and Saturday nights are always packed and feature your generic party hip-hop and 80s tunes. Great vibe and dancing on these nights. I also would recommend Wednesdays nights for the No Jacket Required weekly. DJs spin a good mix of soulful drum & bass, deep house and downtempo...great for lounging or getting your groove on the dance floor. Pros: DJs, Nice crowd, Large venue more

GREAT PLACE FOR DRINKS & GOOD FOOD 10/8/2003

Red & Black surprisingly has great apps and the drink prices are a perfect match for the current economy. I love the lounge-like feel but it is much warmer than your standard lounge. The staff is great and I love the see-through fireplace. Pros: Bartenders, Inexpensive, Atmosphere more

Red & Black colors me pink 12/3/2002

Great decor, sort of airplane hanger meets log cabin. Cool bartenders that aren't rude to you. I have heard some great DJ's on a Friday night (though I have also heard some bad ones). And they even have some great garlic fries. Pros: Good music (usually), Good drink prices Cons: Williamsburg hipsters more
