Music for everybody 4/14/2006

If you've been disappointed with other music stores, check out the Record Exchange. They have a huge selection of cd's, both used and new. Go on First Thursday, and you can get a used cd for $2 off! If they don't have a cd in (which is rare) they can special order it for you, and they don't charge you shipping. Plus the Record Exchange has what they are named for- records. You can find both new releases plus rare records. They also have a wide selection of dvd's, and the attached gift shop has many kitschy gift items and cards. The only problem is it's way too easy to spend too much time and too much money here! more

The place for music lovers 8/20/2005

The Record Exchange has a huge selection of music. You can find obscure and new music here. My husband loves it because they sell used CD's. You can take in your old stuff and earn cash or credit. You can constantly update your collection without spending money. Can't beat that. They also have a gift store where you can buy some original things. You can also buy movies and records here. more

Great selection 8/1/2005

The Record Exchange has a great selection of music from all genres. My husband likes some obscure bands but he can always find them there. They have listening stations so you can try before you buy. They also sell records and movies. They stock local artists as well. If you like music then the Record Exchange is a must. The staff are nice. Some of the prices are a little high but they do put stuff on sell. They also buy and sell used cds. more

Best cd and gift store EVER 7/25/2005

Who would have thought a business trip to Boise would have uncovered such a great record store? Record Exchange sells new and used cds..you can literally browse in there for hours! I bought a cd I'd been looking for and bought another to try out...great recommendation by the staff....thanks! They also sell dvds and have a great little gift area too for the alternative crowd. I love digital music but the Record Exchange is a great reason why store-bought music needs to stick around! more
