A Bucktown favorite 5/3/2006

This store is conveniently located at the Damen el stop, and is a staple of the North/Damen/Milwaukee area. They have a vast selection of alternative rock, punk and classic rock CDs, as well as memorabilia. They also sell local band CDs and occasionally have in-store performances. This store is a favorite with many Chicago area musicians. more

There's also a Reckless on Milwaukee Ave in Wicker Park, closer to your area. You might also check Dusty Grooves. Depends on your musical tastes as to which store you might want to check out. Great place to pick up an album 8/19/2005

Reckless Records is the record store used as the model for the record store in High Fidelity. There are two locations, one in Lakeview and one in Wicker Park - both are great places. I've been to both stores and bought records at both places. I've always found exactly what I was looking for when I went looking for a CD. I highly recommend Reckless Records. more
