My first clue: The guy assigned to come give me an estimate on the property didn't show up. No phone call. I gave them a second chance. Big mistake. Someone showed up the next day, assured me my home would rent in ""no time"", and even suggested I might get more for it than I had originally anticipated. I signed the contract. Stupid.
My property sat for months, with no activity. All RPM did was keep advising me to lower the asking price. Eventually I gave up, and canceled my contract. Shortly afterward I received a letter asking to pay my bills or they would send my account to a collections agency. What bills? I had never received any! There is a clause in the contract that RPM does not have to notify the owner ahead of time for any expenses under $200. But not only did they not notify me ahead of time, they NEVER called, e-mailed, or sent any invoices to me. And now I am to pay up immediately or have my credit rating crapped on.
