Ray Human's Bp Svc Station

I have been using Mike Human for my cars for years and he has always been fair, honest, and inexpensive. I tell everyone about them and I will never go to anyone else. It's wonderful to not have to worry if your mechanic is going to lie to you or overcharge for their services. Some complain that he is hard to reach on the phone - its simply that he has so many customers that his line is always ringing! He is great!! more

I have been taking my vehicles there for years and always get the best service and results of anywhere I have been. I do not have one negative comment (other than that they are hard to get on the phone) and would recommend them to anyone. Mike is one of the nicest and most honest people I have ever met. more

After reading a few online reviews, we called Ray Human and asked if they would check out a car we were looking to buy while in Knoxville and they said sure - and it was free of charge. We live about 2 hours away. We offered to pay them repeatedly but they refused saying thats just a service they do for free. We showed up on July 4th weekend Friday but they fit us in - sadly to tell us the car was a total lemon - but they showed us the problems and went over it all. They were right - the car hard been flooded and severly damaged though Carfax didn't record any of that - and still, after all they did, they refused to bill us for it. We sent them a check later anyway even though we didnt' buy the car because this was a very important purchase - my wife & child who nearly just died in a severe crash just a few weeks before, so we wanted a safe ride. They were incredibly nice - we really owe them a lot more than the money we sent in spite of their refusal. Mechanics with honesty and altruism like that are BEYOND hard to find - Knoxville TN really has a resource with these guys. Thanks Ray Human & staff...you really saved our butts. more

I have been a client of Human's BP for almost 10 years and can't say enough nice things. Mike is always busy but he ALWAYS take the time to explain the problem(s) and go through the possible costs. No one likes to have to deal with auto difficulties, but the good people at Mike's make it a less bitter pill to swallow. more

Have been taking cars to Humans BP for over 15 years. Always receive honest and fair prices. Mike and his crew are great. Friendly office staff. Have had oil changes, tire repairs, tires replaced, clutch, and brake work, ""look over"" on used cars we are considering buying, and more. Have not been disappointed, ever. Only difficult issue is getting through to them on the phone, but it is worth the extra few phone calls when their line is busy. Highly recommend this place. more

The own mike is semi nice but really is only in business for himself and his friends. I took my car there and not only does he not have a codes machine which is required for ALL cars 96 and newer, but he sent it to his friend that is on hard times. he claimed there was no transmission oil but anyone with a brain knows if it is even a pint low it will not move and it was shifting fine, and charged $150! they also stripped the screw for my oil pan and made me get a new one, and refused to pay for it even thought they were the only one that has ever touched it! if you are looking for a cheap place to take your car that will destroy it then come on in they are the best in town!! Pros: Cheap Cons: not worth going more
