We have been using Rawlings Floor Coverings for many years. I have been here for 10 years, and throughout that time they have done many of the floors here on campus. They have probably done 6 to 8 floors a year for us. They have done carpet, vinyl, and VCT flooring, so the whole gamut. They do a fine job. They work us into their schedule and are as flexible as they can be. They are always here when they say. Rawlings Floor Coverings does a good job, and if there are any questions they reply quickly. They are very attentive to make sure their customers are satisfied. They do very nice work. Virginia Theological Seminary more

Great experience working with skilled craftsman 8/23/2010

Rawlings Floor Coverings has worked on about four properties of mine. They replaced the floor in my mom's kitchen about ten years ago. About five years ago, they put in a basement floor for me in a utility room. In the past few months, they carpeted two bedrooms in a new house and tiled the entire first level of another house. I think they're very knowledgeable. They're just good craftsman, they know what they're doing, and they're very skilled. The folks who do the estimates are also tradespeople. They used to do the work themselves full time. For the quality of work they do, they offer very good rates-- excellent value. And I trust them to make it look good. more

I'm back! And back again and again... 8/4/2010

I started working with Rawlings Floor Coverings probably 25 years ago as a first time home owner. They were perfect and did the work fast. They were also friendly. Since that time they have been a mainstay in my business interactions in Alexandria for both my home and my rental properties. When I need something, I don't want to shop around or call other businesses. I just want to work with Richard and Russell over at Rawlings. Just recently I called them up, told them what I needed, dropped by to do a quick selection, and gave them the key. It is very hard to figure out who to trust when dealing with contractors. When people are local, have a good reputation, and keep up their relationships and products, why go to a big chain or someone you don't know? Rawlings Floor Coverings want to please their customers. I'd never go anywhere else for floor coverings and carpets. more

Outstanding 8/4/2010

My family has been using Rawlings Floor Coverings for over 25 years. Their estimates are accurate, they respond quickly, and they give excellent, unbiased advise. They are good. When they say they will be somewhere at a certain time, they are there. more
