Worst

Stopped early on a Friday evening. Ordered filet and porterhouse. Both steaks were charred. The filet was ordered medium rare. Crisp char on the outside yet with a warm red ce...

Not worth the price 12/1/2006

Based on the "hype" expected much more.. was very disappointed. Extravagant pricing for boring food. Steak was just above average (boulder creek just as good) and Lamb Chops were simply grilled, place on plate with jarred mint jelly,, All sides are extra and when you spend $38.00 for a few lamb chops you anticipate seasoning or sauce to make them "special" If you want to savor the atmosphere, I would suggest sitting at the bar, have a $12.00 marguerita and the crab cocktail (which was very good). Pros: Crab cocktail appetizer Cons: Overprice for what they offer more

A Different Experience... 10/30/2006

The Sagamore Steakhouse has recently redone their menu making them even better than the last time I went. The service was exceptional, and the theatrical waiter made our night totally one to remember. The French Onion soup was quoted as being the "best in the Universe" and it was by far the best! I can't remember having quite a good soup coupled with a T Bone to die for. Definately make reservations for this place, or go during the week when the wait is very minimal. The ambiance in the restaurant lends itself for romance or buisness, regardless of your pleasure the Sagamore is where you should be! Pros: Steak was ridiculous! Cons: Service Bar is in the way! more

Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm smile and ambiance that encompassed our entire experience. The Panko Crusted Tuna is simply delicious, and the 28 Ounce Rib steak was better than their sister restaurants Blackstone and Rothmanns. Although the location off of Jericho Turnpike at the north end of the Seaford Oyster Bay is located in a rather awkward spot, the trendy bar crowd parlayed with warm smiles and exceptional service make Sagamore the spot for all your dining desires.
