Rapid Transmissions is a supporter of the Warrior Foundation Freedom Station, and so am I. That was the 1st reason I brought my vehicle to Rapid. Also the fact they have been in business over 40 years in San Diego, so they must be doing something right. They were very polite, and accommodating. They treated me like family and they did a free external inspection of my vehicle. They also did a complete transmission service to include the pan gasket, labor etc. for only $69.95. That is less than I pay for a tank of gas. I highly recommend Rapid! I know nothing about cars and they were honest! Thank you so much.\r more

We were recommended to try Rapid Transmissions from family friends. I spoke with Mark and brought my vehicle in. He did a complete rebuilt and my truck has been running great ever since. Today is my follow up appointment. Thank you for the excellent work and care. more

Had a very bad time 6/24/2014

Had a very bad time wrong transmission was diagnosed (somewhere else not here). They spoke to me on the phone than they told me to bring it in they checked and fixed what the other shop messed up. Great service I really appreciated. more

I had a very bad time I was given the wrong transmission diagnostic (somewhere else). I called them they spend a good amount of time on the phone with me told me to come in on the day they were closed. They took a look and they were able to fix what the other shop messed up.
