Sat here now close to exploding after a great meal.
From the excellent valet (who offered the use of the brolly to get us to the doors of the restaurant) to the friendly greet staff, first impression was good.
Upstairs was roomy, no bumping into the next table when seated. Music was perhaps a twee bit too loud, but hardly offensive.
Quick attendance of staff, drinks were on table together with wonderfully tasty bread and oil/peppers dip. Was hard to resist filling out on bread.
Starter salad was on table quickly.
VERY tasty salad. Girlfriend sat next to me saw and tasted my salad and decided to get one too, it arrived promptly, and was well received.
Main courses were well received by all. Meatballs are something to behold, fantastic tomato sauces on all dishes. Personal order was the ravioli, that also had the tasty sauce. Everyone at table filled up by the main course, and all agreed was great.
Pudding I took a chance and instead of my usual cheesecake, I went for the tiramisu.
I was not disappointed, in fact, it's THE best tiramisu I've ever tasted, melt in the mouth wonderful. Our fellow dinners went for the chocolate cake and I've never seen a bigger slice on a plate before, very generous.
Overall, an exceedingly pleasant dining experience and I look forward to going again.
Prices matched the quality of food and service in my opinion, there's probably cheaper italian restaurants about, but I'm not sure they could match the overall quality here.
I will be back again, soon I hope.
