I have been renting from Ramled enterprises for almost a yr now and I can not wait until my lease is up. Dont be fooled by their cheap prices, for the area. You pay for what you get. Ramled doesnt complete anything in a timely mannor and I feel that they are not taking care of their tenants as they should. None of my windows open, and their is no ventilation in the kitchen. When I contacted Ramled about my windows, they sent a maintanence worker out who's reply was It cant be done because all of the windows were painted shut. His suggestion was to call when ever I needed to open a window and in a day or 2 would send someone out to use a razor blade, a candle, and a hammer to attempt to open them. I was also told upon moving in that during the winter months they re to have someone out to shovel the walkways and drive way. This winter they have only shovelled the walkway from the door to the sidewalk days after it snowed. When asked to shovel the driveway I was told that they werent sure if they could. My car sat in the driveway for almost 5 days before I could get help getting out of the driveway. The maintence workers appear to have to prior experience at all. Within the same month I had awaken to find that my bathroom was flooded. There was literally a whole above the bathroom mirror, and water was gushing out. I then went upstairs to my neighbor to let her know about the water coming downstairs. She had a broken pipe that she had requested they fix. Their way of fixing her broken pipe in the bathroom was to wrap electrical tape over it, which of course wouldnt hold up. So as a result there is severe water damage in the bathroom, along with evident water damage from previous yrs. I could push my finger through the wall because of the water damages. Instead of trying to fix the wall and checking for mold damage, which I am sure there is, they quickly patched it up before the walls had even dried. As for the last and final straw, last Tueday I noticed that my refridgerator wasnt as cold as it normally is. When I checked the fredge I notice my food was defrosting. I followed up with Ramled enterprises the following wednesday and they sent someone out. The person they sent out of course couldnt fix my refridgerator. So I followed up with them Thursday morning and they said they would have a 3rd party company come out to see if the could fix it. The 3rd party company came out Saturday afternoon and also could not fix it. According to the 3rd party company I was assured that my landlord would contact me shortly. A whole week goes by since the original contact date of wednesday Feb. 23rd and I hadnt been contacted. Thurdays March 3, 2011 I called the Ramled once again.. They had forgotten all about me. I was livid. They finally got someone to set up a time for a new refridgerator to be sent out. By then, all of my food had gone bad, since my refridgerator was blowing out warm air. So like any other person would do, I asked if there was any way I could be compensated. Especially since they obviously dropped the ball on getting my refridgerator taken care of. The owner Delmar Poe's response was We won't compensate for any lost food, your food shouldn't have gone bad withing a week."" I want to know who's food doesnt go bad within a week? According to the USDA most food unless it has been cooked for the most part only has a shelve life, without refridgeration for 1-2 days. Ramled enterprises obviously doesnt care about the well being of their tenants. I would NEVER rent from them again and I intend to run out of their apartment as soon as my lease is up.
