Everything went well 4/26/2011

We got in went to the desk to check in, the greeter was very warm and friendly. We got our keys, and parking pass, and breakfast passes. Everything went well. The location was very easy to find, right in the heart of downtown Eau Claire,Wi. more

My room was great, beds very comfy, nice showerhead, covered parking and the 4 options for breakfast as opposed to the typical high carb continental breakfast was nice. My room was very, very nice. more

We walked in to the room ,we could not believe how nice the room was and the bed was so comfortable that we wanted to just stay in bed the whole time, but we had a wedding to be in so that was out . We sure did sleep well that night! more

check in was easy and quick 4/22/2011

We were in town on business and were picked up as scheduled at the airport early in the morning for a business meeting down town. The hotel had arranged the transportation. Our check in was easy and quick. The room was a standard hotel room clean and had all the basics. The restaurant was the best part. They opened a new Indian restaurant, the service and the food was excellent! We found out the chef is really from India despite his name--Gary. more

the perfect location 4/21/2011

We recently stayed at the Ramada when we were in town to see a show at the State Theater. This is the perfect location if you want to walk, only a block away, no worries over parking. The room seemed to be updated. The restaurant was very good. Huge portions and not bad in price. The bar was cozy and friendly staff! I would recomment the Ramada to my friends. more

hotel was clean, a very nice lobby 4/21/2011

A group of friends decided to get out of town and we picked Eau Claire stay. We had a wonderful time staying in the hotel. The Porters Restaurant staff was excelent along with a great value on the food and drinks. The hotel was clean, a very nice lobby and all the hotel staff we talked to was very accomodating. A wedding was taking place in one of the banquet rooms, looked like they had a good time as well. more

She was dedicated to her work 4/20/2011

The BEST thing about the Ramada was our wedding coordinator. She rocked. She got everything done that needed to get done and did a great job. We felt extremely confident in her abilities and trusted that she would follow through on things. She was dedicated to her work. They are very lucky to have her!!!!!! Thanks Kelcie! more

The location and convenience of a downtown hotel near the retirement party I attended was so conducive to ease and safety. The town is so friendly, and the room was cozy. I had a great assigned hotel for an unbelievably low price. I will surely do this again more

I stayed at the Ramada on a business trip and after reading reviews I was quite surprised how different it was! The staff was excellent both front desk and restaurant. My room was nice and comfortable, also very quiet. I would love to stay here again next time im in Eau Claire. more

Overall, our stay was pleasant! 1. Love the parking ramp. You park on the same level of your room so loading and unloading is a breeze. 2. It is obvious that it was a very nice hotel at one point. The carpet, walls and fixtures were all worn, but nice. 3. Having read the reviews prior to our visit, I requested a "remodeled" room. it was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable (although a bit soft) and each "queen" had 4 pillows! The room also included a refrigerator and microwave at no additional cost. more

The service upon checking in was very speedy, the room was clean and had a good temperature control, received coffee, shampoo, soap and all the expected toiletries. The location was easy to find and park. The best thing is there were NO bedbugs, so that was really important. The parking garage was under construction, so there were fewer parking spots available. more

the most helpful and polite staff of any hotel 4/11/2011

During my stay at the Ramada I encountered the most helpful and polite staff of any hotel I have ever stayed at in my 45 years of professional business travels. The woman at the front desk who checked me in was quite sweet, and extremely helpful. I think her name started with a B. The room was clean, and the room service was timely. Although the building looked very old from the outside, the inside surprised me quite a bit! more

We found none of the issue noted in the previous reviews. Our room was clean, warm, had a nice view of the downtown. Parking was hassle free, safe and protected from snow. Restaurant was good - we had breakfast Saturday and the buffet brunch Sunday - we had dinner elsewhere, but noted that the bar area looked inviting and well-stocked and the restaurant was busy when we walked by. Wireless internet was flawless. Pool was clean and nice. It was good value for the money. more
