Editorial review from Citysearch 11/27/2013

Our child was there close to a year. 1.) they are the cheapest in area 2.) you get what you pay for 3.) they have no cameras 4.) our child was spanked by one of their staff and she never wanted to go near her again 5) We as well as every parent received tax back payment from the IRS totaling over 100K that stated we (yes the parents) had to pay to the IRS on behalf of the owner Patricia ""Patty"" Rodriguez. Get this - then there was this mandate everyone must pay by money order only! unreal right? 6) Just ask any parent there if you think this is just a don't like you review. 6) Speaking of which Patty not liking us now, bc we questioned how did you let our child's jacket, hat, and gloves leave with another person... not parent, but Patty gets upset bc we tried every means to contact her but she refuse to answer her phone... unreal right? 7) Let me just say... let rainbow be your daycare because to want to save money only... not stress or the peace of mind of care for your child. more

Sad and smelly place 8/15/2009

When we visited this place for my toddler son, the place was smelly and the air was stuffy. There were not enough toys for children in rooms. The child to care giver ration was at its maximum allowed by state. Yes, it is cheap and if you want to get rid of your kid for many hours a day and don't mind him not learning anything or getting sick often, you can send him to this daycare. We didn't see even a happy kid playing there. To me, that's not a good sign. Pros: Cheap Cons: not clean, stuffy air, not enough toys, max child ratio more

Wonderful Place for kids 11/15/2007

I completely disagree with the other persons review, sounds like something personal. I have 2 children at Rainbow Kids now and 1 who graduated from there this passed summer and it's by far the best decision I have made for my children. The new director is extremely concerned about each child as an individual and considers each child's needs. I feel she has been reviewed unfairly and I can personally recommend this school to any parent. She is full of energy and new ideas and the children/parents love her. more

Very disappointed in new owner's policy 11/13/2006

it USED TO be a good daycare until the new owner took over. she has no experience as an owner and her ideas are so money-oriented. there's no care or consideration to individual child's condition/needs. everything is systemized based on each child's ability, instead of happiness. my son spent more than a half of his life time in this day care. he was very happy there until she came on board and made changes to his daily routine. After discussing solutions to get him back to be as happy boy as he used to be, she was nowhere to accomodate my son's needs/condition. she made excuses to his ability and turned us down on any assistance in his situation. can you believe anyone putting on self-feeding ability test on 1 year old whether they qualify as infant or toddler? all babies develop differently and 1 year old can rarely self-feed. well, this was her judgement! she made accomodation to another baby girl who was even younger than my son, to be enrolled in toddler's class, just because she was self-feeding... i saw this baby girl, she was barely walking. she has this idea of running HER daycare as baby academy, which prepares children into the next school stage. For God's sakes! being happy and being able to be themselves are more improtant for little children in daycare than learning special skills, which could be learned a little later in their lives. which parents want to see their child being unhappy and depressed that he's changing his personality so young? i don't recommend this daycare center for nobody - for no parents who really love their child and cares for him/her. Cons: extremely poor value in management more
