Rain Salon

This is for review of the Wilsonville Rain Salon. I have been getting my hair cut there on a regular basis. I was happy until recently. After having my hair cut there last week, I will not be returning and everytime I look at my hair, I want to cry, and have several times. My hair is a little past shoulder length and had been working on growing it out. Because of the disaster of a haircut I received last week from this salon, I am going to have to get a lot cut off just to even it up, which I do not want, and then will have to start over. I paid $36 for a haircut which, in my opinion, was worse than what I would have received at a beauty school from someone new on the floor. I've actually had people ask me what happened to my hair. I make sure to let them know this was done at Rain Salon in Wilsonville. more

Been seeing Catey for years and she does an amazing job. I have had many people compliment my hair and I am soo happy to have a great Salon to go to. Very personable too!! *** Please note the bad reviews are for another Rain Salon not this one!! ~Miklyn more

The other reviews posted are for a different Rain Salon. I guess there is a shop with the same name in Beaverton. Rain Salon in Wilsonville does not have an Erin nor an Ashley working there...never has. Rain Salon in Wilsonville is great! I have been going there since they opened a few years ago, but have had my hair cut by co-owner Tami for many years prior. She is really nice and always does a great job on my cut/color. I have also seen co-owner Catey who is equally as good. I have referred Rain to so many people who ask me where I get my hair done. To me, that says something when someone compliments your hair and asks who cuts/colors it. The staff at Rain is very friendly and accommodating. It is true that they are not open on Sunday and Monday, but I don't think that is unusual in this economy. They are a small business and do their best to provide great services and products for our local community. I have been very pleased with Rain Salon and will continue to recommend it! Please don 't confuse this other salon with Rain Salon in Wilsonville. more

Dear Reader, Avoid this place at all costs. I had a horrible time at this Rain. I don't know why I let the stylist finish, I should have left. I had ( Erin ) cut my hair and with all the yucky attitude I thought she must be good, but alas, insecurity is no meter. Won't go back there again. I'll pay extra next time and go somewhere the stylists have training and experience. Pros: cheap Cons: dirty, noisy, and rich with attitude more

Saw a stylist named Erin and I got a soccer mom haircut from a soccer mom with a lot of attitude. I wound up looking exactly like her. I won't be going back. Very disappointed. Pros: cheap Cons: lots of attitude, lame haircut, dirty salon more

I am from Ethiopia and I went to Rain salon to have my hair straightened and I felt very unwelcome. I was referred to Rain salon by a friend who used to see Eric but he is not there anymore. I guess he was the only person who did relaxers there. Rain is a very unfriendly place. I will not go back. I've been to Rain twice and I tried a different stylist each time ( ERIN, and ASHLEY ) and I would not go back again. I was given a discount both times but the service was horrible and the cut was too. I suppose they think a discounted hair cut will make up for the lack of talent.
