Radosevich's Earthwood Inn

We had a good time here. Like the other reviewer, we stopped by on the way up to the cabin. Paul the owner was also the cook and bartender so it took a while for him to get us food.\r \r Burgers were big, fresh meat not frozen. Huge pile of fries. \r \r The bar was full of locals, the parking lot was full of pickup trucks, and after the huge burger and fries we were full of food.\r \r It's the sort of place where everyone knows everyone, and they want to talk to you. Someone knew the people a cabin over. Someone else knew the guy who build our cabin 50 years ago.\r \r This is a great local place. Friendly and laid back. Pictures of the customers stuck on the walls. Nice. Needs some work on the outside, but friendly on the inside more

We had a great time here. Stopped in to grab a cold beer on our way north the first time, ended up coming back up a few weeks later for the weekend. The fish fry is out of this world delicious, and all you can eat! The rooms are basic, no frills, but surprisingly clean. Unlike some Holiday Inns and the like we have stayed at, this place actually dusts and vacuums under the beds! The locals are colorful but seem nice and willing to chat you up. We have been back a couple times and will again. It is an easy drive from St Paul and a great way to get away for a cheap weekend. The place could use some tlc, but it was clean and cozy. Definately worth a stop. Pros: friendsly, great food, clean rooms, good prices Cons: rustic, if you can call that a con more

This is probably the skankiest place I've ever seen. While on a daring trip to the restroom, there was vulgar graffiti on the walls to be had. Only one server, one cook. Full of filth. Just not good. It's pretty easy to tell, however, the quality of this ramshackled establishment by simply looking at the outside of it. You be the judge. more
