Had laptop cleaned of bad virus, dropped of the laptop of on monday, after 2 phonecalls from me to them picked it up fryday. no virus, but laptop continues to shut down, slow in opening programs. just not right. Called them regarding the issue and was treaded like trash.\r I would expect some customer service, and the oppertunity to make things right. After 5 days of repair then being told to drop it of and we can check it again? another week? another$100. who knows whats wrong now?\r Will not go back to R $ J repair again will find a different computer repair person, one who still believes in some form of customer service.\r Daan Pros: ?? I had a very bad experience with R & J computers on El Cajon Blvd. in La Mesa, CA. I took in my laptop along with information about the probable cause of the problem, which I had researched on trouble-shooting websites. I even provided the part number. I took the computer to them early on a Monday morning and continued making calls throughout the week about their diagnostics. Almost two weeks later, they told me that the motherboard was bad and that it would cost around $700 to repair the computer. Since I could get a new computer for less than that, I opted to pick up my laptop and think about the situation. When I went to get the computer, they told me that I could leave it there and they'd be happy to recycle it for me. I'm glad I didn't do that!! I ended up taking the computer to another repair shop and within a few days, I got my computer back in great working condition. They diagnosed it with the SAME EXACT problem I suspected, and put in the part (less than $100) I had written down for R & J Computers.
