FOR ALL PET LOVERS 4/6/2012

Dr. Evans and the staff at QVC helped me get through the most difficult time in a pet owner's life...euthanizing a long time family member. She demonstrated her strong medical knowlege along with compassion and care in assisting me to make the best decision for my beloved friend. My other two remaing dogs are ""seniors"" approaching 13 and 15 years of age with their own medical issues. In each case, Dr. Evans has researched and provided the best solutions for their continuued long term care. They are now aging ""gracefully"" with vigor and comfort .....and so am I. more

The Best Vet in Town! 4/4/2012

I have 2 mixed breed, older dogs that have required additional TLC in the last few years. Dr. Carolyn Evans and the folks at Quiocassin have been fantastic. Dr. Evans not only has provided excellent medical attention but communicates in a way that allows me to understand what is going on with the dogs and what options I have to improve their quality of life. Both ""pups"" are going strong and when there have been aging issues, Dr. Evans is always there with a winning combination of common sense, compassion and state of the art science. more

Best Care! 5/3/2011

Best Care! I have been taking my pets to Quioccasin Vet for years and highly recommend them. The staff is extremely friendly, hospital clean, and all the doctors are very compassionate and nice. Dr. Hiser is who I normally take my pets too and she even came to see us on her day off when we had an emergency. Someone from the hospital even calls us after ever visit to make sure everyone is doing ok! They truly are the best! more

Best Vet in Richmond 5/3/2011

I am new to the area and recently tried 4 other vets before a friend recommended Quioccasin to me. I called and got an appointment the same day with Dr. Hiser. When I arrived at the hospital I was greeted by the warm and caring staff and only waited about 30 seconds to see Dr. Hiser. She was extremely compassionate and even called me the next day to welcome me to the hospital and make sure my pets were ok. I highly recommend Quioccasin to anyone who cares about their pets! more

Five meows for best vet in Richmond 4/18/2010

I met Dr.Carolyn Evans 18 years ago, and 5 cats ago. All these years she has cared for either kittens or senior cats with a loving expertise and competent treatment for all. She has welcomed our new cats and comforted us with those we have lost. Her staff is friendly and greet each member of our family with a smile a warm welcome. We think Quicoccasin Veterinary Hospital is the cat's meow! Pros: best vets, best staff, best customer service more

Will travel for care 4/17/2010

I go to a local food store, buy gas just down the road, but I have learned that care, compassion and a great team for my cat could only be found at Quioccasin Vet Hospital. After meeting with Dr. Evans and witnessing the care given, I knew there would be no other place I would go for the well being of my pets. Dr. Evans has greeted our new arrivals and has given comfort when two of our pets had passed. So do I travel for the best care, a great team and wonderful service...you bet I do! Best Vet in Richmond! 4/9/2010

I went to Quioccasin and was immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the competent & friendly staff. After meeting with Dr Evans I was sold! She is very professional and caring and really took the time to perform a thorough examination of my dogs.Although I thought she was a great Vet, it was confirmed when one of my dogs came down with an illness that my previous vet could not diagnose and Dr. Evans researched and treated successfully! Best vet ever 4/7/2009

I had taken my kitten to 5 different vets....with no answer why he was so sick. I had randomly found this vet on the Internet because its close to my home.After I took Jack in, they knew almost immediately. what was wrong...and tried to help him. To no avail, he had to be put down due to a birth defect that could not be fixed. They were SO compassionate---I have never had to put down an animal, much less after spending all the money previously on other vets bills. They gave me a break on the bill, which I appreciated greatly being a teacher with a small income!I have taken all my animals there since then, and they still remember me and my Jack-a-roo!I recommend this vet to everyone...they honestly are the best! more

Caring vets 11/4/2008

I went here on the recommendation of a friend. I had Dr. Hiser. She was wonderful with my new cat, she took the time to look at him carefully and throughly. She recommended vaccinations and treatments, put wasn't pushy and didn't recommend things that were unneccesary. She called the next day to check how the cat was. The nurses were also very friendly. I was able to get an appointment ASAP. Pros: Caring vet, thorough care, followed up, explained treatments, very clean Cons: Took along time more

Veterinary Hospital 2/3/2008

I have brought my cat to this vet her whole life. They have always been helpful with any questions we have about her. The doctors know her on a personal basis and it is a very welcoming place to take any pet! more
