Que Bueno Mexican Grill

I have been there 3x's now and the service and food is GREAT! Hannah last night was probably the best server I had in the past year and will be back for her service. Great Job! more

I went here before a movie and was just planning to grab a drink. I took a look at the menu and decided I couldn't pass up on happy hour nachos for $4. I couldn't believe the portion size that came out. They were more than enough for me, I could have easily shared them with another person. The full menu looked interesting. There were traditional mexican dishes as well as american favorites. The couple next to me at the bar had the fajitas and they smelled great. The bartender was friendly and helpful and let me know that they have a nightclub on the weekends. I plan on definitely going back and taking advantage of the $4 happy hours. Great place. more

I stumbled upon Que Bueno when we went to see a movie at the promenade. None of us had eaten there before so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was very clean and the decor was wonderful. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We got free chips and salsa as soon as we sat down. The queso appetizer was our favorite, but all of our meals were great. Everybody at the restaurant was very friendly and our margaritas were strong! We all had a great time and can't wait to go back. more

My friends and I wanted to try a different club/bar for Saturday nights and thought this place sounded good because 95.7 plays there. We got there about 9:30 and decided by 10:30 that we just weren't feeling it and decided to leave. To get my tab closed took about a half hour! People around me had been waiting for drinks for anywhere from 20-35 minutes. There weren't a lot of people there, but the bartenders were just slow. When I finally got the attention of a bartender, she told me that she could not close my tab because I started it with another bartender (who was way on the other side) and she walked away without helping me or grabbing him. Apparently they were all working specific sections of the bar, so I hade to get the attention of yet another bartender to get him. Everyone around was pissed off because they weren't getting any service either. and these bartenders were sooooo slow and the bar was unorganized. Pros: Nicely decorated Cons: Bartenders more

I was seeing a movie at The Promenade and stopped in for a drink...\r \r \r Me: [I open Que Bueno's bar menu and see an entire page of tequilas]\r \r Bartender: ""What can I get for you?""\r \r Me: ""I'll have an El Jimador reposado on the rocks please."" \r (a very well known and common brand)\r \r Bartender: ""What?""\r \r Me: ""An El Jimador reposado on the rocks."" \r \r Bartender: ""Here, show me"" \r \r Me: [Pointing at item on bar menu] ""here, El Jimador""\r \r Bartender: [Delivers a clear, colorless drink]\r \r Me: ""Pardon me, this is clear so it's probably not reposado""\r \r Bartender: ""Oh sorry, I'll take care of that right away.""\r \r [Five minutes later the correct tequila arrives which was poured at least half an inch shy of the untouched glass of blanco in front of me. We were there on a Sunday all the other restaurants in the promanade were packed, Que Bueni was empty, big red flag. The food was terrible and the Margs tasted like chlorine. Avoid if possible. more

Really nice ambience, food was a bit pricey for what you get (avg $12 per entree) but the worst thing was the music. When they weren't blasting mexican music over the loudspeaker, they had a guy playing guitar and singing and it was TERRIBLE. W-a-y too loud.
