On November 14th, I picked up my ’06 Cummins Onan generator from Quality RV, Inc. in El Cajon after they performed almost $1,200 of repairs to its rotor, brush block and stator. Although bench tested to confirm its output met specifications, through an honest oversight, oil that had been drained was not replaced and the motor expired shortly after it was installed and operated.\r \r With the sincerest of apologies and without even the slightest hesitation, owner Jerry Sabol accepted responsibility and stated he would immediately return the generation to full operating condition, regardless of the cost. As it turned out, the cost was considerable as Mr. Sabol determined that a new, rather than rebuilt, motor would provide me with the greatest assurance of reliability.\r \r Not only did Mr. Sabol make good on his replacement representations, he called the following day to confirm that I understood the initial operating criteria to insure that the new motor would be properly broken-in and thereafter maintained. \r \r I initially selected Quality RV because of their stellar reputation and I can confirm without qualification that after going through an unfortunate circumstance, they absolutely take pride in and stand behind their work product. I was first aquaninted with Quality Rv in 1989 when I became a partner in a small RV motor home sales business that was already using them for their generator repairs. The owner, Jerry, was knowlegeable, friendly and always gave free advise generously. Sometime even calling me to say, come pick it up....it was only low on gas or a stuck choke...No Charge. So naturally in 1995 when I opened my own RV sales I continued to bring all my generator repairs to Quality Rv.\r \r More than once I have seen coaches there from other dealerships, that have in house generator techs who couldn't figure out what the problem was. I couldn't be happier with the service my husband and I received at Quality RV last month. The staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We were getting ready for a trip and found our generator wasn't working. After calling around to many places who couldn't or wouldn't help us we found Quality RV, gave them a call and brought in the generator to be fixed. They explained to us what the problem was, how they would fix it and gave us a price quote that was well below what we expected. Quality Rv has the best service in San Diego! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The service at Quality Rv is always quick and the work is amazing!\r I highly recommend this place!\r \r My last experience there was the best and I owe my Vacation to them. This place should be shut down, They over charged me and all i got was bad service. \r \r I wish i could give them zero stars but it wont let me, ill never go back and i told about half of East County these guys are a joke. more

So i dropped off my2006 21ft thor to have my gen serviced, the owner says i need a new one. wtf..so i bite and say okay put one in, he says to "" After all you dont want to be on you vacation with no gen if it goes out""\r \r Several thousand later, the first weekend im out with my shiny new gen, it goes out.\r \r I take it back and he said it was a common problem and put in a new one..2 trips late maybe 20 hours on it it, the new one went out. This time he wont replace it. i had to go to another shop and i got a quality gen...so STAY AWAY from these scammers selling used junk as new. more
