Right from when we entered the lobby at 5 am. after 7+ hours on the road, the staff went out of their way to get us a room as it didn't appear they would have one. They even called to other hotels to see if they might have a room, but as luck would have it we were able to secure a room for the two nights we needed it. From that point on it was like being at home as the staff offered helpful suggestions for local dining; sightseeing; shopping, etc. The hotel itself was well appointed, clean, central, and offered a continental breakfast that could only be described as a buffet you make yourself. By and large a room is a room - it is the staff that makes your stay. Will we be back, you bet. We have to make special mention of Becky and Jalynn who were terrific and we look forward to seeing them very soon.
