So amazingly good! I try to avoid gluten and this is my one and only splurge. Beautiful remodel and a real gem for Grand Ave. Both the pizza and the salads are outstanding. My ...

Punch is the best! 5/19/2005

I used to work at this restaurant and before I moved away from Mpls, I still ate there at least twice a week. The pizza is irresistable, the prices are good, service is fast. I honestly have not had a better pizza since trying punch and I have been to Italy several times. Now that I live in Miami, we need one of these! more

Lacks the ""punch"" I was expecting... 2/23/2005

I had heard only amazing things about Punch Pizza in Highland, so I have to admit I was disappointed when I found it to be only so-so. The salad we shared as an appetizer was good, although it seemed like something I could probably make at home with a bottle of vinagrette and some mixed greens. My calzone definitely left something to be desired - there was very little filling in it, so I was mostly left with a giant piece of plain folded over pizza crust. For this so-so food, I felt that the price was quite high. While the service was friendly and the place was cozy, the lack of value for the money will probably keep me from patronizing Punch again anytime soon. more

Authentic Italian Pizza 7/8/2004

In one word: amazing. I went to Italy four years ago and had pizza in Naples that was just as delicious and authentic as Punch's. What the restaurant lacks in comfort (hard wooden chairs and tiny, cramped tables), it makes up for in taste. Molten hot mozzarella, fresh San Marzano tomatoes, aromatic basil, and a slightly charred crust are the ingredients for the traditional Margherita pizza. After trying the pizza here, I guarentee that you'll be coming back for more! Pros: Amazing pizza, Good value Cons: , Crowded restaurant, Only two locations more

Always Good 3/13/2004

Consistently great pizza, well priced wine list to match the pizza, friendly fast service. Just be prepared for a wait on busy nights! Pros: Inexpensive, Great food more

A ""MUST"" 8/20/2003

I had never been to Punch until last week and I couldn't THINK about anything else until I went back yesterday to get some more! Their salads are amazingly tasty, then you get your pizza that is just explodes on the tongue. Really, you have got to try this place .. call ahead on weekends because it is busy! Pros: Price, Value, Selection Cons: Wait, Space, Location more

Unbelievable 5/13/2003

Punch has the most unique and dilectable pizza in the state. I eat there as much as i can! it's a great place for a first date, an dan even better place to be a regular. Pros: Quality, Originality, location Cons: wait more

Wonderful! 3/19/2003

This is the best pizza anywhere! The incredible crust, the fresh ingredients, the creative combinations, Punch pizza has it all. Try the Punch salad, too! Pros: Great value, Authentic, Delicious Cons: Not open Sundays, Crowded more

MUST TRY! 2/18/2003

I went here with my wife and inlaws, we had a great time. The Foccacia was unbelievably good, and our Pizzas were so flavorful and perfect. The place is way small, and busy, but there pizza is worth it. Why don't they expand???? Pros: Crusty Pizza, Great service Cons: small dining area more

Best in twin cities 12/6/2002

The best crust and all around authentic pizza in the twin cities, I think one of the best in the country. Pros: inexpensive, fresh ingredients, good service Cons: Crowded more

The Best of Whats Around 11/7/2002

This place is outstanding. They have a huge variety of pizzas with every topping you can possibly imagine. Whats better is that the prices are very reasonable as well. It can be a bit crowded in the restaurant especially in the winter but other than that I don't see any negatives. I definetly recommend this place over any other restaurant that serves pizza around because of its great selection and marvelous blending of ingredients. Order a pizza for yourself and have a go. Pros: selection, value Cons: seat spacing more

Pizza to DIE for 10/27/2002

The atmosphere is wonderful, the pizza is amazing, the only thing to change would be a bit more room around the tables. The service is always great and when we have not LOVED our meal, it was given to us at a reduced rate. We will go back many, many more times. Pros: outdoor dining, good service Cons: crowded more

The only pizza I crave 10/26/2002

Punch is hands down the best pizza in the TC area, possibly anywhere. It truly is the only pizza I crave - whenever I talk about it, I start mentally figuring out when we can get there again. And the artichoke dip is unbelievable. Give me the artichoke dip and a pizza full of the imported tomatoes and cheese, washed down with a Peroni, and it's a perfect meal. Pros: fantastic food, wonderful decor Cons: sometimes a long wait, cramped more

worth the wait 10/15/2002

best ""real"" italian pizza! often crowded and usually a wait for a table. Pros: good value, delicious variety Cons: not open for lunch, parking can be hard, loud more

authentic italian pizza 8/15/2002

Most authentic Italian-style pizza! I received my order very quickly, great ambiance. Pros: great food, fast service Cons: little parking, no reservations more

Yummy 8/13/2002

Best Pizza ever. I am moving to Orlando, FL and will miss this pizza more than any other in the Twin Cities Pros: Flavor, aroma, price Cons: noisy, longer wait more

8.5 8/2/2002

Excellent Neopolitan pizza. Service, however, leaves much to be desired. more

A pizza is cooked in 2 mintues! 7/24/2002

All of the pizzas served here are creative, though don't let that scare those of you who are timid eaters. There is the regular pepperoni or three cheese pizzas for those who do not care for the anchovi, perocini and goat cheese pizzas. The personal size pizza, which is actually about the size of a medium pizza, is quite good. It takes only 2 mintues to cook one pizza in there 800 F deg stove, so you are served promptly. Pros: good food, serve wine Cons: small restaurant more
