Maybe I just can't get tomato sauce off my mind, but chocolate lasagna does not sound appetizing. It sure does taste good, though, and so does the key lime pie. Puleo's desserts are not the only reason to try this Italian-American restaurant, as apparently southern roots (ethnic, not tubers) influence a diverse and sometimes creative menu. Barely upscale, Puleo's is a better destination for a birthday or family gathering than a romantic dinner, and the service has always been friendly and relatively efficient. Recommended.
