This place was great when Mario and Antonio and Daniel were there. It's now a snobby place but without the high quality food and service to give it any rights to snobbishness. It is unfriendly. The food is way overpriced. You can't get antipastinis in the main dining room. They are always out of moderately priced wine. The shaven headed host/manager/waiter is rude and threatening. Avoid this place at all costs. more

My family and I ate at Pulcinella Ristorante for the first time three weeks ago...it was amazing! We were served by a charming young man named Michael. He was so quick to get us everything we wanted. I loved hearing conversations in Italian between the two owners in the kitchen; it was a truly authentic experience. I had the Salmone All'Antonio and the New York! both of which I highly recommend. We also had a bottle of wine, the Soave Acini Soavi, which matched our dishes perfectly! The background music was delightful and set a beautiful ambience in which to enjoy our night out. The familial setting is perfect for setting any type of celebration. Also, the full bar attachted to it is very comfortable with leather couches and a welcoming bartender, named Daniel, who can recall many recipes for our favorite drinks. I would not reccomend this place. It was one of the worst Italian restaurants I have been to. When we walked in all we got was attitude from the hostess. Then she wanted to sit us by the door to the outside that has people from the restaurant and customers constantly coming and going. It was not very busy (Tuesday eve) and it was nice outside so we asked if we could sit outside. Got more attitue, she sat us outside. There was only one other table with people outside and the waiter kept ignoring us or not providing service. We had to ask another waiter, who came to handle another table outside when another couple arrived, to help us or get normal things like silverware, water refills etc. When the meal came, it came topped with that fake box style cheese, how tacky for an entree the costs $17.00 or more... I was not even asked if I wanted parmesean cheese or not on my meal. For an upscale restaurant I would expect real paremesean cheese and no less. The sauce on the meal was runny and tasteless. I will not eat here again it was a very big dissappointment.!!!! more

Chef/Owner Antonio Race has a special gift for producing delicious italia dishes. The appetizers(Italian Tapas) are checked off a list with pencil just like ordering sushi. The pasta dishes feature white, creamy vodka or red. The veal is oh so tender and the Salmon is fresh as a hich school drop out! The wines are unikely, deliciously Italian...imported especially by Antonio. If you have room, try the canoli's. Manga!
