In April 2009, I bought a car from Public Motors and since then, my car has been a complete lemon. As soon as I left, my window did not roll up, my hood when I looked at my engine would not stay up properly, my CD player does not work, my Air conditioning does not work properly but did not figure this out until the summer. My lights inside the car eventually did not turn off, the part is $500 to fix, cannot afford so I had to take the lights out. A major electrical problem. My tail light turns off all the time and I am constantly getting stopped by the cops for it. When I drove it off the lot, my engine light came on and I took it back about 4 times and they bandaged it up with a few sparks plugs, said nothing was wrong with it... until the warranty expired and now they have nothing to do with me. It turned out that I needed a Head Gasket. So far, I have paid for the following problems since I bought this car: a new Head Gasket, radiator, battery, Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Transmission pan, etc. I would like to warn the people that are considering buying a car there....DON?T. I believe my car came from the New Orleans floods because there are too many electrical and problems that have gone wrong with this car! Do not buy the GAP insurance that they urge you to buy, and that I got suckered into, because GAP insurance is only for new cars not used cars. Please do not trust them..and do not buy there. Trust me!
