Prospector Place is family-owned and operated in Hahn's Peak Village, CO. The dining room was originally the Hahn's Peak General Store at the turn of the century. In 1989, local businessman Dave Papini purchased the store and added on the Lodge; turning it into a Bed & Breakfast. It served as a B&B under a few different names over the years: The Inn at Hahns Peak, The Country Inn at Steamboat Lake, and lastly - Hahns Peak Inn. When local residents, Mike and Barbara decided to reopen the business in the winter of 2012 /2013, they brought back many artifacts to restore the original character of the rich mining heritage of Hahns Peak Village and renamed the building Prospector Place.. Year round lodging facility and seasonal restaurant service.
