I can't say much about my experience in Prominence Apartments only about my move-in day. However, the property appears to be very well kept and the staff seem to be pretty attentive and professional. more

housing, community, gym, the whole place is awesome!!! but, if you're military and you get cut orders, they will bill the rest of your lease and find any excuse to make you pay. we gave them web orders 2 months in advance. first they declined, then ""took them."" another month rolled around, we asked for a receipt and they played dumb, gave them another copy. they played sad and the day we were supposed to move out, they denied both orders. gave them a printed army sailor relief act and they still wouldn't accept it. after all that they charged me 5,000 for FUTURE rent. (we were current on the rent and even paid half month in january their claimed end date just to appease them, wasted another 14 days with the loud people.) Sorry Sir, my APT wont let me move. more

The location is great. That's the only reason I can give even one star. The noise is absolutely horrific. If you are a serious college student, prepare to have to leave your apartment in order to go study. The side of the freeway is quieter than my apartment sometimes. After countless complaints to security, my neighbors still feel justified in blasting their loud music at all times because of some business they are running. I am an understanding person and know that we will hear each other's noise, but forcing everyone around you to hear and feel your music on a daily basis disrupts everything everyone is trying to do. I can't even hear my TV without turning it louder than I feel comfortable for the sake of my other neighbors. I've been started from a deep sleep at 2 am, I've been kept from reading/studying/relaxing all through the day. I've had to put in headphones to sleep at times. It is ridiculous. Security is always good to take care of the situation; however, the apartment office has not done anything about these people, which shows me that they think its OK too. Maybe they should be forced to live next to them for a while.\r We should not have to leave the place where we pay ridiculously high rent to do the things that we should be able to do at home. \r Yea, it's pretty here. They put on a good show at first. more

My family and I have been living at the Prominence Apartment complex for about six months. The complex has alot to offer from Raquetball to a indoor movie theater. The security is great. The staff is professional and friendly. I would recommend this complex to all my family and friends. more

I've lived here for about four years now and overall I'm a happy tenant. It s a beautiful complex with tons of nice amenities. There isn't anything nicer in North County. I live in the older apartments toward the front where it isn't as crammed so I've never been bothered by the noise. The parking however is a pain in the butt. If you want to have friends or family come over they better all be in one car. I am happy with my apartment because even after living here for four years I've never had any appliances or anything else break.. Overall it s a beautiful place to live, and worth the noise and parking issues. more

Prominence was our first apartment. After moving, and starting up the apartment hunt again, we came back to Prominence. We felt very spoiled that Prominence was our first apartment! The landscaping and surrounding area is beautiful. The location of Prominence is ideal for any occasion. more

After apartment hunting throughout the entire North County, I thought i was going to have to live in a crappy run down apartment where I would be scared to walk outside at night by myself. This place is different. The office staff is very nice and have gone the extra mile to make sure we got a great place. We saw a place in Carlsbad that was more expensive but after doing a walk through decided right away it was crap compared to Prominence. It's close to school, cutting my weekly expense on gas in half! I love it here and wouldn't want to live anywhere else! more

My wife and I moved from San Diego because I got a job in Carlsbad and wanted to be closer to work. After looking at several communities in San Marcos, Vista, and Oceanside, Prominence Apartments offered a variety of floor pans, nice amenities, and reasonable pricing.\r \r Some of the community amenties include a fitness room, indoor racquetball court, tennis court, dry heat sauna, and a nice movie theatre room. There is also a large pool with two spas. Our apartment has the granite countertops, washer/dryer inside, attached garage, fireplace, and balcony.\r \r The office staff is knowledgeable and professional. They made our move to north county a smooth one. Maintenance has also taken care of any issues promptly.\r \r Everything is close by - shopping, movies, freeways, restaurants, etc. We didn't know too much about the San Marcos area when we first moved in, but now we realize how conveniently close everthing is.\r \r We enjoy our stay here at Prominence and would recommend it to friends and family. more
