Prominence was our first apartment. After moving, and starting up the apartment hunt again, we came back to Prominence. We felt very spoiled that Prominence was our first apartment! The landscaping and surrounding area is beautiful. The location of Prominence is ideal for any occasion. By far the best apartment complex in North County! more

I lived at Prominence Apt. for year and an half and it was the worst rent experience in my life. Everything what they said about the apartment prior to moving in was lie. I had many questions about many things since I have a wife and two little ones(four year old girl and two year old boy) prior to moving in.\r Don't know where to began with the problems since so many things went wrong. For most, pest problem was the worst of all. Every morning I start the day by with killing trails of ants and that usually take up 10 to 15 minutes EVERYDAY. Supposedly ants come seasonally but not in this place, they are around EVERYDAY!!! Then they were silver fishes and I find least one or two on the wall every day. I know these are just little bugs and didn't think they were big deal until mouses showed up. Throughout our stay in this place we complained many times but the management act very slow and telling us that this is California (since we are from Michigan) and these are problems you have deal more

But the management did nothing but setting traps. They caught three mouses in few days and still setting traps. When I knew there is rat hole and asked to find the access and seal the hole which they couldn't do since I have my furniture's. So I request to move into another apartment and they can do what ever they could do to fix the problem or the place. But they said NO! Then I had to threatened to report this to health and safety, BBB, and hiring a lawyer to sue. Then they let us out of the contract two months ahead and acted like they were doing us a favor.\r Also there were other problems such as college kids partying every night till 4am, kids cursing, fighting, music blasting and vacuuming at 5 in the morning. Calling security for help and they tell you to call cops. Limited parking with very small space where my cars were damaged twice. Dogs droppings every where. Waking up by dog bark middle of the night. Then there is skaters running down the side walks. Trash is over full most of times. If you are planning on moving into this apartment I highly recommend to reconsider. When I think about the time that I stayed in this apartment was like nightmare and so glad that I am not living there. THANK GOD!!!\r more

Maintenance is good here. Office staff knowledgeable and friendly. We like our attached garage and the washer/dryer hook-ups inside our apartment. I would recommend Prominence to family and friends. more

My wife and I really enjoy it here. I am not on staff so I will just make sure I clear that up now. The value of these apartments is pretty good for the area and what you get. I'm pretty simple and would be fine living in a studio with a couch and a TV but what is really important is that my wife likes it here a lot (and she is very picky). The only gripe we have is parking but it is not enough to make us dislike where we live. All in all we are pretty pleased so far with Prominence. We have lived here a year now. more

I'd been living in this property for about 3 yrs. I was very busy with babies, and skipped the walk thru inspection when I was leaving the property, then they charged me about $1400 for maintenance cost right after we left. I was sooo shocked because I never used the property badly, destoy, or make any cut or worst tear on carpet or anything! The property already had very old and black dirty carpet before we even moved in.. I'm preparring small claim right now because we couldn't make any negotiation. The people working in leasing office were very kind but for such issues we have to talk to head office directly and they are very unkind. There was only one single person working for 'ALL' billing sissues and this one person has to deal with all thousands of units so you can't expect more. Don't go Prominence!! more
