Absolutely spectacular shop! 4/10/2012

Their window facing St. Charles Ave. beckoned me - I love fabric and love creating items with it. This shop is a once-in-a-lifetime dream! We are planning to return to New Orleans next year; and I'm planning on saving the whole year so I can have a wonderful shopping experience again! This is a MUST SHOP business for anyone who is intrigued by fabrics, buttons or sewing notions! Can't wait to return! more

I want to share my marvelous experience of shopping at PROMENADE FABRICS on St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans. They have the most wonderful selection of unusually beautiful fabrics for everything from Carnival Balls and Weddings to the snazziest of contemporary choices. Pros: Wonderful fabric-buttons are superb Cons: Closes at 5PM more
