Very Caring Dr 12/16/2008

Dr Abaza treated my daughter once in the ER and had a very caring bed side manner. She assured my daughter that she would not get any "ouchies" and was very engaging whilst still getting the job done. more

A great hospital 12/1/2007

The Toledo Hospital is the best Hospital in the Toledo Area. They have the children's Hospital the is spectacular they also have, The best heart center in Ohio. more

OB Department 9/8/2005

I recently had a baby at Toledo Hospital and thought the care was good, but the labor and delivery is a little outdated. Most hospitals have gone to birthing rooms while Toledo Hospital is still doing a labor room and a post pardum room. I don't like the idea of sharing a room especially after having a baby. I think they need to update their services. more

The Toledo Hospital 5/25/2005

The Toledo Hospital is an okay choice, allthough I would sugest if you can go to one of the many other hospitals in the area you do so. They have good enough staff and care, and certainly have plenty of rooms. I just don't believe they stand up to other hospitals such as Saint Vincents. I had some major problems with the billing department, but I also had a great operation and recovery. PROS: good enough staff and services CONS: not as good as other available hospitals, billing can be a mess more

Emergency Room 4/22/2005

If you are going here for yourself expect to sit there forever! However they are extrmely fast in getting children right in. We have taken my son a few times for the usual toddler accidents, bronchitis and ear infections. MOST of the nurses are wonderful with the children and keep his attention when the doctor is trying to examine him. One small complaint is the doctors don't talk to you in english so you under stand whats going on with your child. They give the "MD" talk and I usually end up asking a million questions which could be avoided if they ust explained it in regular terms more
