Came across this salon via Living Social and it sounded like an AMAZING deal- $57 for a full foil and hair cut! Almost too good to be true but I was willing to take a chance. So not happy. Was there for over 4 hours and had the front part of my hair bleached and recleached over 5 times- it was bad. The owner seemed to be training in a stylist, the person who happened to be doing my hair. They consulted on almost every step she took, which I didn't mind because two eyes are better than one, however, the stylist in training didn't seem to listen to the stylist advising her and I heard her say ""that's why I told you to do it the other way"" more than once. I think it was taking so long that the other stylist stepped in and had the stylist in training start working on her client so she could try to get my orange hair to some what of the cool blonde I wanted (it was a cool blonde/light brown mix when I came in and I wanted more hightlights around my face and maybe some random highlights around the crown of my head). This didn't happen and I ended up leaving with orangish roots in the front that ""faded"" into a bright yellow ""blonde."" I was told that the lighting was probably distorting my perception of the color and that it wasn't as ""orange"" as it looked in the light of the salon. I could only hope! I left not liking my hair but also not wanting to spend any more time there and continue having my hair processed with bleach over bleach over bleach. I had to wait a few days to TRY and conserve any integrity left in my hair but it was so noticable and such an awful color that I had to go to another salon and pay over $60 to get it corrected (which took the colorsit all of 30 minutes to do). The one good thing that came out of this appointment is that I found a great detangler (they used it on my hair as it was literally wahsed and rewashed (parts) 4 + times). Would highly discourage anyone who is thinking about going to this salon as a discount is NOT worth having bad color and then having to go to another salon ""correct"" it. Also, I feel like it would be more honest if they let you know ahead of time that a stylist is ""training in.""
