Best exterminator ever - I had (ick) bed ***s and tried everything and other exterminators with no luck. Finally I read the amazing reviews for Prevention Pest Control and decided to give them a call. They came out that same day, meticulously exterminated everything and also taught me what I needed to do to prevent the ***s from coming back. So nice! Not being able to take the aROACH and bMOUSE problem we had (thanks to our neighbors and their construction work forcing them out to our apartment) we finally broke down and decided to call an exterminator. After reading all these great reviews how could we not call Prevention Pest Control? Jimmy was the best, he was super friendly, asked a lot of questions and really took the time to understand what kind of problem we were having and where. By the end of the day he was at our apartment fully equipped and ready to tackle whatever situation. He was very thorough, didn't rush, took the time to explain and show us where the bMICE were coming from and how to prevent them from entering again (steel wool and silicone). Luckily, I had already removed everything from our cabinets and the kitchen since we were planning on releasing one of those aROACH bombs/foggers anyways so he was able to really get in the cracks and all the way in the back. Surprisingly, Jimmy made us aware that the bombs weren't the best solution and that in the end would cause the aROACHES to disperse throughout the other parts of the apartment, so no-go on the bombs. But I don't really think that even matters considering the thorough job Jimmy did, handling each cabinet, drawer, hinge, etc. Granted this was just yesterday but I already found a whole bunch of dead aROACHES in/around the cabinets. I have faith our condition will improve and we will definitely be calling them back should I ever see another aROACH or bMOUSE. I would highly recommend Prevention Pest Control for any pest problem. These guys are so nice. I called because I had a pest problem and the guy just sat down and talked me through what options I had and what I can do. So even if you THINK you have a problem, call them and they'll give you a lot of information. These people are truly professionals, and very knowledgable Jimmy takes the time to get to know you so he can best come up with a stratergy to help with the problem. As is the case in the winter rodents like to come indoors to get out of the cold. My wife was having a fit with the rodent stuff and the sound of squaking rodents in our home. I put out some glue traps but the rodents seem to be on to that trick. I even put cheese on the glue trap and they still didn't bite, someone even suggested that I put peanut butter on the traps, nothing seem to work. I can't even begin to tell you how Prevention Pest Control took care of my ant problem. I tried everything to get rid of these things. Every year they crawl into my house and start this trail and it seems to never end. First I saw them in the kitchen, then they started crawling into my bedroom window . I tried all the ""home remedies"" and nothing worked. Finally I called Prevention Pest Control and they came right away and took care of the problem. I have had an ongoing but minor problems with pests (the crawling kind which i cannot include in this review because of citysearch's blocker). I'm a very tidy person so you can imagine my horror - along with my fear of these creatures. This service was excellent - came into my apartment and cleared out problems from top to bottom. Sometime ago I was in the hospital because I was bitten by a spider in my own home. I almost lost my leg and my life because of it. So I am deathly afraid of them. I was so excited about my new apartment. My boyfriend and I were relaxing on the couch and the lights were dim. All of a sudden a felt tickles on my leg and I laughed and told him to stop.
