Premiere Dermatology & Surgery

I took my daughter to Dr. Bouttee twice about 2 years ago. I have to admit that the first experience was not to my liking. I expected my daughter to see the doctor, but she saw the practitioner instead. The practitioner stood in the doorway for most of the visit and occasionally peeked over to look at my daughter's skin. Not surprising, the prescription was ineffective. I called the office for another appointment, and told them how dissatisfied I was with the last experience, especially not seeing the doctor. On the next visit, my daughter was seen by the doctor who was hands-on. The prescription was highly effective and my daughter is very grateful for the care. I have read the other reviews, and I really hope her practice turns around. I do plan to make another appointment with her. I will make a follow-up report afterward. more

I have a pet peeve. If its requested that I arrive on time for my appointment, I do expect to be seen promptly. I do not plan on waiting 30 minutes before I was even called back by nurse. I am not a new patient so I didn't have to fill out paperwork. There was only one other person in the waiting room so it was not busy. The care received does not exceed what I receive elsewhere so this will be my last visit. Who has 1.5 hours to spend time at the Dermatologist? more

Help me to comprehend why there was a man shouting & making terroristic threats to a member of your staff and more signifantly, it was established later that he was your husband. I am in disbelief that you would sanction your husband to conduct himself in such a repugnant & audacious manner at your place of business. It’s appallingly poignant and astounding that an ostensibly erudite black woman would find it tolerable to allow everything she has worked for &/or achieved to be detrimentally impacted by an individual who indisputably revealed his disparagement and insolence for women and your place of business. The question has to be asked, why would you allow your husband to speak to a member of your staff in such a disrespectful & threatening tone? \r Do you know the definition of professionalism & respect? Do you know that it is against the law for an individual to make terroristic threats against another? To clarify, it’s illegal to threaten bodily harm! Do you know that your employee as well as anyone negatively affected by his behavior can bring a law suit against you, your husband & your business? Do you find his behavior amusing because the veracity is you are in actuality obtuse & undignified? Do you also yell and disrespect your staff because you are ignorant of the law as well? I have to say this is the most unfriendly, cold environment I have ever entered,.The girl at the front desk is rude, direspectful and does not care one bit about this practice. She is clearly there for a pay check only. She seems miserable and it shows! They do not return calls and I have never seen Dr. Boutte. I make an appointment with her and a inexperienced student comes in and asks me what I want. Dr. Boutte better get a hold of her practice before her staff ,who clearly can care less Ruins it for her! I have been going to Dr. Boutte for several years and regardless of the day or time of my appointment, I always have to wait at least 1 hour before I am seen by anyone. And often times when I am seen after waiting for an hour the practioner spends 15 minutes with me and doesn't even touch my face. Whereas the diagnosis was once correct and the presecribtion drugss effective, they no longer work but they insist on continuing my prescription. They even prescribe a mixture that the compound pharmacy on S. Cobb Dr would not fill due to FDA warnings. When I contacted them concerning this, they told me to go to another pharmacy. I am now in search of another dermatologist who will at least listen to their patients. Pros: Highly recommended and well-known Cons: Long waits, unhelpful staff more

I have visited Dr. Boutte's dermatology office numerous times, and I wonder why I go back. Being new to Atlanta, numerous people recommended Dr. Boutte and her dermatology practice. My experience has been horrible. I have requested an appointment with Dr. Boutte over three visits from Sept. 06 to today. I have yet to see or be seen by Dr. Boutte. My appointment was for 10: sahead of me when I arrived. A strange doctor examined me and informed me that Dr. Boutte was conducting interviews over the phone and wouldn't be seeing me today after I specifically requested an appointment with her. On my last visit, I was seen by a practitioner that was no longer working there. I requested to speak with Dr. Boutte briefly, and she wouldn't see me. At no point was I informed that the wait would be 2 hours long, and that Dr. Boutte would not be seeing me. The doctor I did see could barely speak english, didn't take the time to hear me out, made suggestions based on assumptions, she assumed I processed my hair, amongst many other things. \r \r Don't waste your time. Find a physician that values their practice and their patients. DR. BOUTTE DOES NOT!!!
