The apple strudel is fantastic, and the best thing here are the potato balls. They have another location in Burbank. Very good prices.

Pastries and cakes good. Tres leches excellent. Lines are insane....and the architect should be forced into the Arena of the Gods against Spartacus, Forced to line up three dif...

I work just down the street! This is not gourmet food, but they have excellent sandwiches and bakery at bargain prices. You would pay double in Brentwood, Beverly Hills, or Santya Monica. Pros: Bargain, Bargain, Bargain Cons: busy, busy, busy more

If you ever thought of looking for authentic cuban pastry, you found it. Porto's provides that taste that makes you think "I'm in Cuba." The taste is magnificent! You can try their appetizers, patelitos de pollo (chicken pies) to their extraordinary cakes. In order to understand what I'm saying you must visit this bakery. FYI its expaning! Best pastries and good value 1/2/2003

I've been there couple times. The food are all delicious. I really love the cheese roll. I love everything about this bakery. The only thing I don't really like is the long wait. But anyway it is worth it. more

Crowded but good 11/14/2002

Every piece of pastry i got from this place has been delicious and inexpensive. I love their breadpudding and anything with guava or mango filling. Potato balls are good too. However busy crowd keeps me from going there too often. more

This little bakery is a spot to be reckoned with. The sandwiches are so authenticicly Cuban and too good. I highly suggest that you go there for lunch and don't forget to get dessert. The tres leches is melt in your mouth good and the triple chocolate mouse is... words can not describe it. And just so you know I am not a ig chocolate nut, but the mouse... UNBELIEVABLE! Try the roast pork sandwhich ith garlic mayonaisse sandwhich and get a side of two potato balls. Wash that down with an imported ""Coco Solo"" coconut soda and you have a fantastic flavorful lunch that will cost you less than 6 dollars! Go figure! If you add five bucks on to any Porto' sandwhich, you can calculate the ""santa monica price"" ;) more
