If your in Port Huron it's worth a stop 8/17/2005

The Port Huron has a nice selection of artifacts from the cities history. Notably they have an old fashioned telephone switchboard, a replica of a pilot house of a boat, and some artifacts from Thomas Edison's childhood. There is quite an extensive collection of maritime artifacts and they have periodic special exhibits. There is also a log cabin on the grounds that is open in the summer. They also have some natural history items such as stuffed animals. more
