Michael Horan moved to the Ormond Beach area in 1958 and has lived in Orlando, Tampa, Ft. Myers Beach, Marco Island, Naples, Kissimmee, Jacksonville, and Cocoa over the years. Michael got his start as a driver in the ’70s. He began as an airport transportation driver, and then in the ’80s, he became an over the road truck driver, hauling freight long distances. When the ’90s hit, he decided to concentrate on driving for the arts community, which included the National Symphony, the Bolshoi Ballet, Phantom of the Opera, and many others. In 2000, he started driving tour buses for Prince, Reba McEntire, Phish, Aerosmith, Rascal Flatts, Lady Gaga, Martina McBride, Fleetwood Mac, and many more. Michael now lives in Palm Bay and has started his own transportation service. Michael founded Port Canaveral Transit in April 2019 with the goal of providing worry-free, easy, and comfortable transportation for travelers getting ready for a cruise adventure out of Port Canaveral.
