I have visited to Aspen nearly every year since 1990 and have dined at Poppycocks for breakfast before skiing dozens of times. i have noticed a decline in the quality of the cuisine the past three years. The coffee is nearly undrinkable. Prices are high for the quality of food and service received. My crepe was luke warm last Saturday, February 25th ,thus I left a 15% tip. Not the 1% tip the Newport Ca. man left his waitress which went viral today. My waitress presented me back my check and VISA card,told me I had made a mistake and INSISTED I add an additional $6.00. Yes, OCCUPY Aspen! Indeed. That's my last trip to Poppycocks . What embarrassing behavior to regulars who know more than a few locals in town!
