I met a woman with a BEAUTIFUL wedding ring set and had to ask her where she got it. She had Cedar Park Jewelry remake her original wedding set, and said she'd had a wonderful experience with CPJ and highly reccommended them. I live in Austin but decided (after speaking with George the owner on the phone) to drive out to Cedar Park. It was definitely worth my trip, and they did exactly what I wanted for a very good price. They are very accomodating, and Amy provided THE BEST customer service I've ever had. I love the owner George, and couldn't be happier with my ring. I won a gift certificate from the local Christian radio station from Cedar Park Jewelry. As I entered the business, I was immediately greet with a kind word and a smile from the owners. I was given the time and attention needed due to being unfamiliar with the layout of the store and not really knowing what I wanted. Mr. Poe senior was very patient with me and introduced me to his son who is the owner at the location. I shared with the owner how I was blessed with this certificate and how I really appreciated his contribution and sharing within the community. He stated that he enjoyed being able to give support to local stations. As I was about to leave, I saw a beautiful pair of dangling gold diamond earring. I inquired from Senior Poe who asked his son/owner, who stated "" give them to her"". I was so suprised and couldn't believe that a beautiful pair of diamond earring were being given to me. I almost cried, Senior Poe stated ""consider this an early Valentine's Day gift"". I immediately started thanking God for his favor and give the owner a big hug of appreciation. Awesome, I went in to sell some gold and while I was there I started talking to George about my wedding ring I had re-done a few years ago. I had it done at a place downtown and I was not very happy with the quality or the design but I didn't know what to do. Well, George looked at it and confirmed all the flaws that I saw and then some. I was so thrillled that he saw my vision that I had for the ring all along. George designed and made the ring with top quality workmanship, the ring is beautiful. I am so excited, for my ring of course but also that I found such a great place. The owner appraised my ring and was honest about what he could offer. As much as I wanted to sell my ring following my divorce, it was still heartbreaking. He was very caring about my situation and made it easier. As I was prepared to leave after selling my ring, he encouraged me to start the new year off well and even gave me a little gift. We got the gorgeous antique engagement ring of my dreams at a fantastic price AND they custom made my fiance's wedding band from a picture. It was ready in less than one week and turned out more beautiful than we had imagined! And for less than the original quote! My husband wanted to put a larger diamond in my wedding ring. He shopped around and found one at Cedar Park Jewlery. I took my ring in a week before Thanksgiving. My ring has blue opals on each side which we found had he had to replaced due to the fact they are so soft, any work around them makes them crumble. We picked up my ring 2 days before Thanksgiving. It wasn't quite what we wanted, so, George told us to bring it back. I took it back and described what I envisioned. This time he speical ordered opals so the color was perfect. When I picked it up the second time, it was so beautiful it made me cry! I definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of buying or selling jewlery, AND looking to design a perfect piece. I went to turn in some old gold to have a white gold ring designed from a ring I had with very old mine cut diamonds. I selected a setting from a book. After explaining to George what I wanted to my surprise when I went to pick up the ring it was better than the picture! More like the picture in my mind- redesigned by George. I wear it with pleasure every day and when I get compliments I go on and rave about Cedar Park Jewelry and tell them to go there! I felt like they not only genually care with their friendly AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE, but their prices and gold value for what I turned can not be beat!! Thank you George!
